    Functional Behavioural Assessment

A Functional Behavioural Assessment (FBA) is a detailed process used to understand the why behind a person’s behaviour. Rather than just focusing on what someone is doing, an FBA explores what’s triggering the behaviour, what’s maintaining it, and what purpose it might be serving for the individual.
